Walking Shadows Vol. 2
Walking Shadows Vol. 2 pulls characters from across nine of Shakespeare’s plays into a new imagining of what would happen if they all met in the overheated circumstances of a theatre company plagued by artistic rivalry and ambition on the eve of launching their most ambitious program to date, with a crowd peppered with company members alongside wealthy patrons of the Arts they are trying to impress, who have their own secrets to hide. This new season of the series, featuring a cavalcade of Shakespeare characters, takes the work in a brand-new direction as we watch some thrive, some plot and many unravel.
And did we mention they also have a haunted theatre to contend with?
Walking Shadows Vol. 2 … what's past is prologue …

Gay Mean Girls

About people and about war
In the modern world, it is not easy to keep the memory of the feat of our ancestors. With our project, we want to remind you that even in the darkest and most terrible days, there is a place for exploits, ingenuity, self-sacrifice, funny coincidences and, of course, love.
People rarely and reluctantly talk about their terrible experience. Therefore, there are very few truly truthful materials that have been preserved, not about the assaults and attacks, but about the ordinary everyday life of the war.
WEB SERIES
"ARTIST"
Everyone has their own war - even theatrical artists. Only instead of weapons they have emotions, and they fight not with enemy troops, but with pain, fear and sadness.
The propaganda team gives a performance for the wounded Red Army soldiers. A cheerful performance raises the morale of the fighters, allows you to temporarily forget about the hardships of wartime.
Pavel - one of the artists - comes to the ward of seriously wounded soldiers, where, among other things, an unfamiliar girl lies. He decides to make a performance just for her. From now on, this story is no longer about war, but about bright hope, miracle and love. Sometimes only something spiritual can save the physical.

Streams Flow From A River

Chateau Laurier
Edwardian newlyweds Hattie and Vivian navigate their lives on the other side of happily ever after and learn that life as heirs to the grand Chateau Laurier hotel comes with slings, arrows, enemies, opportunities and strife.
When the grand hotel was opened in Ottawa in 1912 it represented all that was extravagant and privileged at the dawn of a new century. The surrounding town was little more than a frontier. This is Canada in the moment it blooms onto the world stage, growing pains and all. Chateau Laurier follows the struggle to control power of the hotel (and beyond) between Briar Hays (Tymika Tafari), the new owner of the hotel, her estranged brother Vivian (Luke Humphrey), his wide-eyed new wife Hattie (Kate Ross Leckie), her acerbic Aunt Esme (Fiona Reid)…and Gabriel Sabot, the Cajun-creole boss of Lowertown (Emmanuel Kabongo).
The show has a core cast of recurring characters vying for power in the family-run hotel in 1912 Ottawa. Uniquely Canadian, Chateau Laurier is told with a flair for the dramatic, with diverse, distinct, entertaining characters and a dose of humour.
New Season 2 cast include Tymika Tafari (Apple TV+ The Marijuana Conspiracy), Emmanuel Kobongo (21 Thunder), Joel Oulette (Trickster), Brittany Raymond (The Next Step), Katie Uhlmann (Nurses) and Jason Gray (Reign).
Retuning cast include series leads Kate Ross Leckie (Alias Grace), Luke Humphrey (Tiny Pretty Things), Fiona Reid (Harry Potter on Broadway), Kent Staines (Anne with an E) and Fraser Elsdon (Y: The Last Man).

Womb Envy
Mark is stuck in a rut. Nearly 30 years old, he is wanting more than the tired beat of the Toronto gay dance floors and is seeking purpose in life. His childhood friend Mary is pregnant and desperate to escape the clutches of her religious zealot mother, Dorothy, and the small town they grew up in. Showing up on Mark’s door one day after years of separation, Mary convinces him to pretend to be her baby daddy, since he was the only man her mother ever approved of, after reminding him of the years she spent being his “fake girlfriend” as a teen.
They create rules to ensure the success of their half-baked idea, which splinters Mark’s fragile queer ego to create a drag queen apparition - The Divine - who constantly fights against this new assimilation to heteronormativity. Confusing things even more, Mark soon falls head over heals in love with their lamaze instructor, Patrick, which throws a huge wrench in their charade for Dorothy.
Internalizing the chaos in his life, Mark develops a rare condition known as couvade syndrome, bizarrely displaying pregnancy symptoms which become increasingly more difficult to hide, even from his new crush Patrick, who is partially-sighted. Everything in their lives quickly unravels, leaving Mark and Mary to pick up the pieces in time to welcome their babies into the world and into a new nuclear family.
