Through found footage, Liminal follows a group of 3 teenagers exploring an abandoned building to create content for a TikTok trend. At first the space offers a unique aesthetic that they try to warp into something eerie and fear-inducing. However, the forced nature of the content is quickly replaced by genuine horror when they discover an unsettling liveliness and familiarity to the space. The mood takes a turn when one friend disappears and the two remaining polar opposite personalities must navigate a bunch of increasingly distorted and disturbing rooms.
