In 1979, a group of high schoolers have founded the Mystery Solver's Club, and spent their final summer before graduation road-tripping throughout Kentucky, searching in vain for supernatural phenomena. Little did they know, their hometown of La Laiterie has been hiding magical secrets from them their entire lives, in the form of Eidolons, powerful spirits that every resident of the town is granted the ability to summon the day they turn 18. Their senior year is devoted to getting to the bottom of the surreal mysteries woven into their town's history, but it's a quest they're doomed to fail; in 1999, the newest members of the 20-year-old Mystery Solver's Club are investigating the unexplained disappearance of the group's founding members.
